Pine Labs joins hands with OneCard to offer interest-free EMI options
  • OneCard credit cardholders to get zero interest EMI options.
  • The service will be available across 2,70,000 Pine Labs PoS outlets throughout India.

Leading merchant commerce platform, Pine Labs has joined hands with exclusive mobile-based credit card firm, OneCard to expand its EMI services to all customers holding OneCard Credit cards.

This collaboration is further envisioned at enabling OneCard customers to avail no interest EMI on their credit cards for high value and moderate purchase transactions in more than 2,70,000 Pine Labs PoS (Point of Sale) outlets all across India.

Confirming the news, Chief Business Officer of Pine Labs, Kush Mehra, was quoted saying that the company is elated to expand its EMI proposition to OneCard customers. 

He further added that, as the festive season in the country approaches, the collaboration will attract more shoppers onto the platform with the option to convert regular purchases into easy and zero-interest monthly installments.

Furthermore, commenting on the partnership, Co-Founder and CMO of OneCard, Vibhav Hathi stated that the alliance will enable customers to regulate cash flow efficiently, and choose EMI options that are convenient for them. 

It will also allow customers to make festive season purchases without much hassle as they will be provided with easy, smart, and affordable installment options, Hathi added.

Notably, Pine Labs will focus on the tech-savvy population which regularly avails the services provided by OneCard. On the other hand, OneCard plans to deal with short-term liquidity without pressuring its customers by levying high interest rates.

According to sources, Pine Labs is currently expanding its EMI services to international markets. It recently entered into a partnership with the Malaysian buy now pay later (BNPL) platform, Atome to provide shoppers with affordable and easy payment options.
