American aerospace manufacturer and space transportation services company, Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX), has reportedly launched 143 satellites into space, making a new record for the highest number of spaceships deployed in a single mission.

Sources confirmed that the rocket Falcon 9 took off from the Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. It traveled south along Florida's eastern coast on its way to space.

According to the company, the reusable rocket helped transport 133 government and commercial satellites along with 10 Starlink satellites to space, as a part of SpaceX’s SmallSat Rideshare Program, which offers access to space for small satellite operators seeking secure and inexpensive orbital travel.

Reportedly, SpaceX had postponed the launch due to unfavorable weather conditions. Elon Musk CEO of Tesla Inc. later stated that the company is launching various small satellites for a variety of clients and is thrilled about providing small businesses low-cost access to orbit.

Out of the many required satellites to provide broadband internet globally, SpaceX has previously launched to orbit more than 800 satellites through a USD 10 billion investment which the company estimates will produce USD 30 billion annually to help finance the interplanetary rocket program of Musk, called Starship.

In other news, Elon Musk has revealed plans to colonize Mars by building a one-million-strong city by the year 2050. He stated that the company is likely to produce 1,000 Starship SpaceX spacecraft over the next 10 years following which SpaceX will launch three spacecraft per day.

In the hope of building a permanent settlement on the Red Planet, the rockets are expected to take off from Earth, each carrying about 100 tons of equipment, along with 100 people.
