Global Gaming partners with Finnplay Group over online gaming platform

By Pankaj Singh

Online gaming has rapidly transformed over the past decade, from being an emerging trend to becoming a habit for millions of people all over the globe. Gaming companies have adapted to the changing preferences of users and formed key partnerships to ensure their products reach as many consumers as possible.

Swedish igaming company Global Gaming 555 has recently announced that it has inked an agreement with Finnplay Group, a Finnish gaming platform provider, through its Maltese subsidiaries. Finnplay, having its headquarter in Helsinki, develops and provides platforms and technology for online gaming as well as owns a license for online casino services in Sweden.

Reportedly, Global Gaming offers numerous gambling products online, such as video poker, jackpots, slots, scratch cards and many others. One of its flagship products is Ninja Casino, which offers a safe and seamless online gaming experience to customers.

The agreement will enable Global Gaming to have access to high-end tech solutions of Finnplay and complete online gaming platforms. The products under Finnplay are approved and licensed for use in several countries like Sweden, Romania, Malta, Hungary, Estonia, Mexico, Denmark and the United Kingdom.

Casino and other gambling games have gained popularity worldwide, with almost 37% of mobile and PC players in the U.S., U.K. and Australia playing social casino games like poker, blackjack and slots in 2016.

According to the new CEO of Global Gaming, Tobias Fagerlund, Finnplay’s understanding and expertise of the Nordic gaming markets and experience in providing its customers with online casino games is what sets them apart and makes them an ideal business partner. Partnership between the two established companies will certainly create long-term opportunities for delivering the best gaming experience to the customers in every possible market.

The agreement will seemingly enable Finnplay to work on improving its platform along with the functions and features it provides, for creating a safer and better player experience.

In June this year, the operational license of SafeEnt, a Sweden-based subsidiary of Global Gaming which operated the company’s Ninja Casino and Spellandet brands, had been revoked by the Swedish Gambling Authority. The agency cited violations in the way SafeEnt conducted its gambling activities. Global Gaming’s bid to have this ban removed was rejected by an administrative court recently, spelling trouble for the leading online gaming provider.
